Megapath BGP customers may choose to effect our local preference on
their routes by marking their routes with the following communities:
| Community | Local-pref | Description |
| (default) | 150 | customer |
| 6267:150 | 150 | customer preferred |
| 6267:120 | 120 | customer backup |
| 6267:80 | 80 | customer fall-back |
Please note, If a multi-homed customer sets the community
6267:80, Megapath will prefer an announcement from a peer over
the directly connected customer.
---
In order to send communities on your routes you need to make sure to have
a policy/route-map that matches your route(s) and also to have
"send-community" applied to your bgp neighbor if the router is a Cisco.
