Megapath Inc Public Peering Policy for AS4565


1. Megapath requires U.S based ISPs to turn up peering sessions in at least 2 different United States timezones (Pacific, Central, Eastern) with a minimum of 3 connections across 2 of those regions.
2. Megapath Inc requires Non U.S. based ISPs to build peering sessions in at least 2 differnet locations in the timezone where connections are to be turned up.
3. Megapath Inc peers must maintain consistent route announcements across all peering sessions.
4. Peers will only announce their routes and customer routes to Megapath Inc.
5. Megapath Inc peers will not point default or route of last resort at Megapath Inc.
6. Megapath Inc peers must operate a 24x7x365 NOC.
7. Megapath Inc peers must agree to assist in resolving Denial of service attacks and other security issues.
8. Megapath Inc peers must respond to all technical problems in a timely manner.
9. Megapath Inc does not peer with any network that is also a Megapath Inc transit customer or has been a transit customer during the previous 6 Months.
10. Megapath Inc reserves the right to terminate peering with a network that does not meet this Peering Policy.
11. Megapath Inc reserves the right to decline peering with any network for any reason.
12. All requests for peering must include ASN, locations available for peering, and full contact information for peering policy and network operations groups.
13. If possible requests for peering should include a traceroute to megapath.com from a block on the requesting network, and expected amount of traffic that will be exchanged between Megapath and the requesting network.
14. All Peers must maintain a current profile in Peering DB
15. All other peering requests not meeting the above criteria will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
